Savings secured personal loan
With this option, a loan is taken against the money in your United Trades FCU savings account.
- Continue to earn dividends on the money in your savings account or certificate account
- The money held in your savings account is released as you make payments on your loan
Savings secured credit card
Get a United Trades credit card with money held in your United Trades FCU savings account.
- Continue to earn dividends on the money in your savings account
- The money held in your savings account is based on your credit card limit.
- Limits range from $500-$15,000
Credit builder loan
If you do not have any money saved but still need to start building credit, our Credit Builder loan may be the option for you. With this option a small loan is taken out and immediately deposited into your United Trades savings account. The funds in the savings account are then held until your loan is paid in full.
- No savings account balance required
- Earn dividends on the money in your savings account
- Work with a United Trades Financial Coach to develop good savings habits
- When the loan is paid in full, you will have built credit and have money saved in your account
