As a not-for-profit, cooperative credit union, we stand by our members in good times, and in challenging times. This is a challenging time. COVID-19 is causing disruptions in nearly every household as schools close, businesses close or curtail services, events are cancelled, and more.
We are feeling the same impact as you are, and we want to serve you as best we can. If you think you will be impacted financially, please let us know. We have programs in place to help.
Options include:
- Skip-a-Payment: Most loans qualify to skip two monthly payments
- Adjustments to make your loan more affordable at this time
- Financial coaching to help you make the best decisions possible.

Branch Availability
Effective November 4th, our branch is open to walk-in members for most transactions. Please call us if you would like to apply for or inquire about a new loan.
Employees and anyone entering the branch is required to wear protective face masks. If you have a health condition that will prevent you from wearing a face covering, please call us at (503) 283-5193 before you arrive at our branch. We will make arrangements to best serve you when you arrive.
Branch Procedures:
- Branch visitors must wear a face covering. To properly identify a member, we may ask you to step 6 feet away from others and briefly pull down your face covering.
- To meet proper occupancy guidelines, only 4 individuals will be allowed inside the branch at a time.

The safety and health of you and your finances remain a top priority. With this announcement comes some changes to the typical in-branch experience to ensure the continued safety of our members and employees including:
- Heightened sanitation practices including recurring cleaning routines and evening deep sanitization
- Temporary removal of refreshment and snack station
- Hand sanitizer also provided for member use
- Branch staff will wear masks
- Branch visitors are encouraged to wear masks
- Floor guides and signs to display physical distancing guidance
- New branch procedures have been set to maintain physical distance

Online/Mobile Banking and Access to Cash
We encourage you to use digital services as much as possible. You can access your account from home 24/7 through online banking or our mobile app. If you have a United Trades FCU ATM or Debit Card, you have access to nearly 30,000 surcharge free ATM’s through the CO-OP Network.

- Contact your local utility companies to seek out any assistance they are offering for customers.

- Several school districts, local business, and non-profits are offering lunches for children during the school shut down. Research your local district to see how they are offering lunch services.
- Connect with your local food pantry for you and your family if you are worried about running out of food before your next paycheck.
